WVTTK — Workgroup Meetings

Vision, not built yet

WVTTK is a concept for a future app — nothing described here exists yet. This page captures the plan so far.

WVTTK ("wat verder ter tafel komt" — Dutch for "any other business") handles the everyday meetings of a workgroup: scheduling, agenda, attendance, and notes. Where ALVer is for formal general assemblies with votes, WVTTK is for the regular working meetings in between.

Signing in

Same as the rest of the ecosystem: W3DS ePassport, no separate account.

Your meetings

After logging in, you see every meeting for every group you're part of — upcoming, past, and a searchable archive.

Scheduling a meeting

Any member of a workgroup can create a meeting for it. A meeting is a calendar event:

  • Date, time, and duration
  • Optionally recurring (e.g. weekly)
  • All workgroup members are invited automatically — no need to add people one by one

Joining — online or in person

  • Online, W3DS-supported call app — joining the call itself checks you in as a Participant, automatically.
  • Online, other tools (e.g. NextCloud) — a Join button links to the call; check-in happens when you click it.
  • In person — whoever's running the meeting marks attendance manually.

Before the meeting: RSVP

Members can mark "I'll come" or "I can't make it" ahead of time, so the group knows who to expect.

Agenda

Every meeting has an open agenda list. Anyone can add an item, and it's always visible who added what.

After the meeting: notes

Any attendee can step up as note taker and add notes for the meeting. Notes are saved to NextCloud or the community's eVault, and the link to them shows up everywhere the meeting appears — not just inside WVTTK.

How it fits the ecosystem

A WVTTK meeting is itself a shared W3DS calendar event — the same principle as workgroup chats automatically appearing in Meshenger. Create a meeting once in WVTTK, and any W3DS-aware calendar can pick it up automatically, alongside ALVs and social events.
